ESA GlobSnow "mountain unmasked" prototype dataset note

The complete "mountain unmasked" prototype product set, ranging 
years 1979 - 2012, has been processed and is available upon
request from the project manager Dr. Kari Luojus.

The "mountain unmasked" dataset is processed using the baseline 
GlobSnow SWE retrieval methodology. However, the mountains are 
not masked out during post-processing, giving an estimate for them.

The SWE estimates for the mountains are not as accurate as for the 
non-mountainous regions.
