The NRT SE processing is interrupted since April 8 due to an Envisat anomaly. Most recent information about the Envisat mission status is provided on the ESA website. As soon as the data is provided again the NRT processing will resume.

The third issue of the GlobSnow quarterly newsletter was published on Friday 4 September 2009. The third newsletter presents the results from the algorithm evaluation efforts carried out by the consortium and invites the users to the first User Workshop in Innsbruck during 12-13 January 2010. The first User meeting was hosted by WMO at Geneva, Switzerland between 3 and 4 February 2009. The main topic of the meeting called the Requirements Engineering Review (RER) was discussing the requirements for the snow products of project GlobSnow. The meeting agenda, minutes and presentations by the project consortium and the Users are found on the "Users" section of the GlobSnow web-pages.
